The MS-500 Center Glazed Storefront is a high-performance commercial storefront system designed to combine a modern architectural profile with the structural strength demanded by today's projects. With 2-1/2" x 5" profiles fabricated from 6063-T6 aluminum from .090" to .125" thick - and up to 1/4" in reinforced areas - this system ensures a robust, reliable and long-lasting solution even in high-traffic and exposed conditions.
The system is optimized for the use of 9/16" laminated glass, wet glazed with structural silicone, achieving a firm, airtight bond that increases impact resistance, prevents water and air infiltration, and ensures a continuous seal across the entire glazed surface. This configuration allows the MS-500 series to reach heights of up to 10 feet, offering superior performance against wind loads and severe weather conditions.
Thanks to its center glazed design, the glass is placed at the center of the profile line, offering a symmetrical, clean and contemporary appearance that adapts to a wide range of commercial and institutional projects.
